Program · School Kits

The school kit —a child's first signalthat they belong.

Co-procured with local stationers. Rupees stay inside the ward.

At the start of every school year we distribute kits — bags, books, stationery, uniforms where needed — to first-generation learners in our partner schools. It is the smallest of our programs and one of the most powerful: a child who arrives ready is a child who is read as a student, not as a special case.

A student opens her year-start Heart of Nepal x CIAO KIDS school bag, an education-themed notebook in hand.

How it works

Co-procured. Locally sourced. Quietly delivered.

Kits are co-procured with local Indrawati stationers and tailors so rupees stay inside the ward.
Distribution happens through the schools — not in a public ceremony — to protect the dignity of the child receiving.
Selection criteria are agreed by the parent committee at each partner school.

One kit. One school year held.
